POHP Events Wins 2017 Allie Award for Best Team Effort

POHP Events recently attended the 2017 Allie Awards where we were honored to receive the award for Best Team Effort. This is our second consecutive year taking home this award.

This year’s honor was given for our work on Micah’s bar mitzvah, which took place on the roof of the Ponce City Market in Atlanta. For this event we proudly worked alongside Event Savvy, Added Touch Catering and Planner Nancy Joffre. Each of our partners added their own unique touch to this event, and we would not be able to accept this award without their hard work and dedication.

In addition to lighting and other various rentals, POHP provided a one-of-a-kind illuminated wall panel created with an old-time amusement park/carnival design. We had a great time working this great party celebrating Micah’s bar mitzvah.

The 27th annual Allie Awards were held March 5, 2017 at the Georgia Railroad Freight Depot with the theme of “Gear Up.” It was a great evening celebrating the Atlanta event industry and recognizing and celebrating the work of our peers.

The Allie Awards were created in 1991 to showcase the talents of the event professionals of Atlanta and encourage the creation of standout events that push the industry forward and gain national and international notoriety. The awards recognize incredible work by event industry professionals, and awards are given to those who create innovative events and push industry trends forward.

This year’s awards were a great opportunity for POHP to network with peers and celebrate many outstanding Atlanta-area events in 2016. Once again, we are incredibly grateful to our incredible event partners, and we look forward to making it three in a row in 2018!
